Job Title: Manager, Programming and Data Analytics

Location: Cleveland, OH

Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Manager to lead a Programming and Data Analytics team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing a technical environment consisting of an MS stack of products, including an SQL Server Database supporting our ERP solution, as well as a Microsoft environment with an MS SQL database cluster used for various other business applications and data storage. Our organization operates in a mixed server and cloud environment, leveraging Azure and MS SQL Servers, and extensively using APIs to interface with SaaS solutions.

In addition to leading a team of technical professionals, you will collaborate directly with key business users to ensure thorough needs assessments are completed and requirements are effectively gathered.

The team you will lead is responsible for the following areas:
  • Maintaining and administering strong data governance.
  • Creating and modifying reports, data logs, and data analytics within our ERP.
  • Developing and maintaining API integrations using tools.
  • Developing and maintaining Microsoft SQL Databases for use with analytics tools such as PowerBI.
  • Development and maintenance of analytics dashboards using PowerBI.
  • Developing and maintaining automation and workflow within our ERP and the Microsoft Power platform.
  • Monitoring trends in technology related to data management and analytics, including those in the consolidated Microsoft Fabric platform or those offered by AWS.
Successful Candidate Experience:
  • Managing a development team of at least 5-7 members.
  • Defining data architecture and governance.
  • Working with ERP applications and related tools.
  • Working with Microsoft platforms and tools.
  • Collaborating with business process owners to gather and analyze business requirements.
Additional Responsibilities include:
  • Work prioritization and resource scheduling.
  • Assisting in planning and managing business application upgrades.
  • Team development and skill advancement.
  • Code review and change control.
  • Ensuring application and data security in all developed products.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge across a range of business processes and applications.
  • Proven experience as a leader in programming and data analytics.
  • Excellent critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills, including project planning and resource scheduling, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and initiatives in a demanding environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
