You will be a Lead Software Engineer within the F-22 IMIS program located at HAFB, UT.

As a Lead Software Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

• Accountable for the Software Product Team’s overall engineering technical, capability, and schedule performance for the ground systems team at HAFB.

• Coordination planning, organization, integration and completion of software development projects.

• Providing Software Product Team progress and plans to Leadership.

• Instantiates solutions across all components of software systems through design, integration, implementation and support.

• Leveraging proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of business or industry.

• Ensuring program plans and technical baselines are consistent with Program Control processes and Modern Engineering Practices.

• Planning and formulating engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications.

• Coordinating activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

• Lead a mixed team of LM and Air Force Civil Service Engineers.

Basic Qualifications:

• Secret Security Clearance

• Engineering or related technical degree

• Previous software development experience in C++

Desired Skills:

• Experience leading software teams

• Experience writing and debugging C++ code

• Experience writing and debugging SQL code

• Experience using Oracle database

• Experience with Solaris

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux

• Experience with Agile software development

• Experience with F-22 IMIS

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
