Full Stack Java Engineer

Job Summary: We are looking to hire two strong Full Stack Java Engineers for long-term, exclusive roles under our Services contract. The ideal candidates will have deep hands-on experience in building scalable, high-performance applications using modern Java frameworks and tools.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack Java applications.
  • Build RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and integrate with front-end components.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
  • Implement automated testing using JUnit, Cucumber, and BDD practices.
  • Work with GitHub for version control, branching, reviews, and CI workflows.
  • Collaborate on database design and development using MongoDB and SQL databases.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.

Years of Experience: 10 years IT experience (5 + domain expertise)

Required Skills
  • Strong experience as a Full Stack Java Developer.
  • Solid expertise in Spring Boot and Java-based microservices.
  • Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Proficiency with GitHub and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Experience with MongoDB, SQL, and database querying.
  • Strong testing skills: JUnit, debugging tools, automated testing.
  • Experience writing BDD test scenarios using Cucumber.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior work experience with Charles Schwab, with verifiable references.
  • Experience in enterprise-scale financial or brokerage systems.
