Accountants One is working on an exclusive search for a fantastic organization in the Metro Atlanta area looking for a Senior Accountant. This person will work closely with the Controller, but the Senior Accountant will need to be able to work independently and be very detailed and organized individual. This is a 4 day in office and one day remote opportunity during not busy times.

Senior Accountant will handle the following:

  • Reconcile daily deposits and record daily sales reports.
  • Maintain and reconcile accounts receivable and coordinate with the sales team
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and inventory journal entries.
  • Process vendor invoices and manage payments per company policies.
  • Lead key aspects of the monthly close process and prepare journal entries.
  • Support the annual external audit and ensure compliance with sales and use tax filings.
  • Provide financial analysis
  • Special projects
Requirements:
  • Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 5+ years of accounting experience -full cycle month end close
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, organized and can work independently and with the team
  • Advanced Excel
