SUMMARY OF JOB

Under the direction of the Director of Nursing working in conjunction with members of the management team provides support to the DON in planning, coordinating, and directing the operation and management for the skilled nursing departments, dementia unit and short stay for the LifeCare facility. The position requires the use of independent judgment in the facility's day-to-day operations in accordance with the goals and objectives of the LifeCare Division, regulatory and legal aspects in the Long term care industry, the Sisters of the Redeemer Health and Redeemer Health.

RECRUITMENT REQUIREMENTS

RN and 3 years experience, BSN preferred.

Previous management experience preferred.

Must be flexible with scheduling

Computer experience preferred

Be willing to be a change agent

Demonstrates sensitivity to residents emotional, social, mental health and spiritual needs

LICENSE AND REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS

RN and 3 years experience, BSN preferred
