As the Clinical Leadership Associate, you will lead and nurture Clinical Directors in your assigned market, driving both performance and culture while overseeing clinical outcomes. Your time will be split between direct patient care as a primary care provider and fulfilling essential leadership responsibilities. The distribution of time will vary based on market needs and direction from the Regional President.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee clinical outcomes and daily operations for Medical Directors across multiple centers, ensuring regular engagement with team members and best practices.
- Drive operational success and ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Mentor and coach Medical Directors to achieve exceptional clinical results.
- Foster professional development for PCPs, NPs, and Medical Directors through targeted training and coaching initiatives.
- Promote a culture aligned with ChenMed's core values and service standards at each center.
- Support the recruitment and integration of new clinical team members to maintain high-quality care.
- Establish partnerships with payers, specialists, and local healthcare communities to enhance service delivery and patient care.
- Respond proactively to workplace concerns, ensuring a positive market culture.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with quality improvement initiatives and performance assessments in collaboration with the Regional President.
- Lead clinical metric reviews and provide insights for continual improvement.
- Deliver outstanding patient care as a PCP, constituting about 20% of your responsibilities.
- Represent ChenMed in various capacities to enhance healthcare delivery in the community.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience required; 3 years preferred.
- Previous experience as a Medical Director or equivalent preferred, particularly with a Medicare or Medicaid patient population.
- Board certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Geriatrics is preferred.
- Proven skills in clinical leadership and a history of developing talent within a healthcare setting.
- Must be licensed to practice medicine in your state.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively manage relationships in diverse settings.
Compensation:
Salary range is $250,426 - $357,752, along with comprehensive employee benefits.
