Job Summary
Visual Edge IT is seeking a Major Accounts Executive to join our growing national sales organization. This role is designed for high-performing, strategic sales professionals who thrive in cultivating relationships with large enterprise and multi-location clients.
As a Major Accounts Executive, you'll take a consultative approach to business development-helping executives and IT decision-makers transform their operations through technology solutions including managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, print and document management, and unified communications.
This is a base salary + commission position with additional bonus opportunities. The On-Target Earnings (OTE) for this role is $125K+, with no commission caps.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans targeting large enterprise and multi-site organizations.
- Identify and engage key decision-makers, including C-level executives and technology stakeholders.
- Build and manage long-term client relationships through trust, insight, and value-driven engagement.
- Conduct consultative needs assessments to uncover client challenges and design comprehensive technology solutions.
- Lead and coordinate complex sales cycles, including RFP responses, solution demonstrations, and proposal development.
- Collaborate with internal teams-technical specialists, project managers, and client success leaders-to ensure solution alignment and delivery excellence.
- Manage and grow a pipeline of large-scale opportunities, driving consistent revenue growth.
- Maintain detailed account planning and forecasting to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings to position Visual Edge IT as a trusted strategic partner.
- Participate in regional and national business development initiatives and sales blitzes as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Proven experience selling technology solutions (Managed IT, Cloud, Cybersecurity, or Document Solutions) to large or enterprise-level organizations.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage executives and influence strategic decisions.
- Strong business acumen with experience managing long and complex sales cycles.
- Ability to develop multi-level account relationships and navigate enterprise buying structures.
- Strategic, consultative approach to selling-able to align technology solutions to business outcomes.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM platforms (Salesforce experience preferred).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.

Visual Edge gives employees access to a 401k program and offers an employer match benefit. Visual Edge IT will match 100% of an employee's contribution up to the first 3% and will provide an additional 50% match on the next 2% of the employee contribution.

Pay Range: $60,000 - $85,000 per year
