LSE Student Intern

The hourly base rate of pay for this internship starts at $18.00, and may increase based on major and class standing.
The intern will be establishing and maintaining cost-effective web based solutions that meet the customer's business and technical requirements using Java, .NET, React and/or SQL queries. Other responsibilities include test automation, testing software upgrades/patches and premier customer support. Additionally, the intern is responsible for compliance with departmental policies and processes and for performing all duties and activities in a safe and ethical manner.
Required Qualifications
Must have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
Must be a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university, or within one year after finishing a degree program.
Must have completed freshman year of college.
Must successfully complete Savannah River Site General Employee Training and substance abuse processing.

Security Clearance Information
SRNS is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with SRNS may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Factors such as pre-employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
