Job Summary

The Application Architect will provide technical leadership and strategic direction for both Java and Data Engineering teams.

This senior role focuses on architecture and strategy while offering hands-on guidance to ensure high-quality solutions.

The position involves designing scalable systems, reviewing code, tuning data pipelines, and supporting migration initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement application architecture and technical strategy (70% architecture, 30% hands-on guidance).
  • Provide technical direction to development teams across Java and Data Engineering domains.
  • Review code, analyze logs, and optimize data pipelines for performance and scalability.
  • Lead efforts for data integration and migration from PCF to on-prem environments.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions for internal and external users.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in architecture, security, and compliance.
Required Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Java (Spring, REST) and Data Engineering.
  • Experience with event-driven architecture and Azure services (Kubernetes/AKS).
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline tuning and modern DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Azure or Snowflake certification.
  • Experience in financial services.
  • Background in large enterprise project implementations.
