Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Core Java Developer to join their team. As a Core Java Developer, you will be part of the Application Development Department supporting the Technology Solutions team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Core Java Developer

Location: Newark, DE

Pay Range: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

What's the Job?

  • Develop and maintain robust Java applications to support business needs
  • Perform triage and support for Java-based systems and applications
  • Assist in release management and deployment activities
  • Design and propose new components using best practices and design patterns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
What's Needed?
  • Proven experience with Core Java and object-oriented programming principles
  • Solid understanding of J2EE, App Servers, and containers such as Websphere, Weblogic, JBoss, or Apache Tomcat
  • Experience with Spring frameworks including Spring Core, Spring Integration, and Spring AOP
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP web services development
  • Familiarity with Hibernate, distributed caching frameworks, and encryption technologies
