Key Responsibilities
- Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, and create a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
- Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on each client's unique needs, fostering pathways to healing and resilience.
- Develop comprehensive crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to empower clients in their mental health journeys.
- Participate actively in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care.
- Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans while upholding the highest professional standards.
- Engage in collaborative care with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and fellow therapists, to provide holistic mental health care.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
- Provisionally licensed as required by state regulations.
- Educational background leading to professional licensing.
- Passionate about mental health and committed to high-quality care.
- Dedicated to ongoing professional development, including access to supervision and continuing education.
- Eager to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
- Strong commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and families.
- Effective time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
