Summary
Innovatus Technology Consulting is seeking a Systems Administrator with an active TS/SCI clearance to provide technical expertise in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT infrastructure supporting mission-critical operations at Patuxent River, Maryland. The incumbent will ensure the integrity, availability, and security of networks, servers, and operating systems in compliance with federal standards.

Duties
•     Install, configure, and maintain local area networks (LAN), data communications networks, operating systems, and physical/virtual servers.
•     Monitor systems to verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources.
•     Review system and application logs, ensuring completion of scheduled jobs such as backups.
•     Analyze network and server resource consumption; implement controls for user access and system performance.
•     Install, upgrade, and maintain software applications; manage software licenses for compliance.
•     Assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between hardware and software systems.
•     Provide documentation and reporting to ensure compliance with organizational and federal IT standards.

Specialized Experience
•     Administering and maintaining LANs, servers, and operating systems in a secure environment.
•     Performing system monitoring and troubleshooting to ensure availability of IT resources.
•     Managing user access controls and analyzing system resource consumption.
•     Installing and upgrading software, including license management.
•     Supporting virtualization and network emulation projects.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
•     Knowledge of:
•     Network protocols, operating systems, and virtualization technologies.
•     System monitoring tools, backup/recovery processes, and cybersecurity principles.
•     Skills in:
•     Diagnosing and resolving hardware/software/network issues.
•     Configuring and maintaining secure IT environments.
•     Documenting technical processes and compliance requirements.
•     Abilities to:
•     Work independently and collaboratively in a mission-critical environment.
•     Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
•     Adapt to evolving technologies and security requirements.

Conditions of Employment
•     Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance.
•     U.S. Citizenship required.
•     Occasional travel may be required.
