Knowledge, Skills, & Attributes:
  • Proficient with MS office products and related engineering Software highly desired (JETS, Socket, CYME, ARMS)
  • Strong Technical Engineering Skills and understanding of Power Systems
  • General engineering and construction principles
  • Knowledge of electrical system operations, distribution systems, underground and overhead construction practices.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work to manage multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers, customer service, line crew and engineers.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective project management skills.
  • Working knowledge of NESC
Education and Experience:
  • Preferred - Not Required 1. 2-year accredited Technical Degree or 4-year accredited technical degree
  • Distribution and/or related Engineering experience with a power utility company is a plus.
