The Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for sales generation and delivering a positive customer experience. The Seasonal Sales Associate will also handle a variety of operational duties as assigned by the store management team (e.g., housekeeping duties, visual presentation standards, etc.).
Reports To: Store ManagementThe Seasonal Sales Associate is responsible for greeting customers, creating positive first impressions, maintaining store standards, providing product information, offering efficient service at the cash wrap, and sincerely thanking customers as they exit the store.
Cooperation & DependabilityThe Seasonal Sales Associate is expected to satisfactorily complete all duties as assigned by management, be punctual and adhere to the designated work schedule, work well with peers and management to accomplish duties, and follow GUESS Policies and Procedures 100%.
Personal PerformanceThe Seasonal Sales Associate is expected to meet or exceed the sales per hour (SPH) result as assigned by management.
Miscellaneous ResponsibilitiesThe Seasonal Sales Associate is expected to participate in and attend all store meetings and other related functions, represent a positive attitude toward the merchandise and the company, participate in all inventories, and assume and complete other duties as assigned by store management. The Seasonal Sales Associate must also be able to perform heavy lifting in excess of 30 pounds and stand for a minimum of eight hours during scheduled shifts.
Job RequirementsThe Seasonal Sales Associate should have excellent communication and customer service skills, previous retail experience preferred, ability to work well in a team-oriented environment, ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, and balance on a frequent basis.
