ENG Design Engineer II

We are seeking a design Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, modifying, and managing projects using CAD to 3D print objects. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed CAD models and technical drawings for various engineering projects.
Use CAD drawings to 3D print tools and parts for the plant.
Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure models meet project specifications and requirements.
Reverse engineer parts that we could make using 3D printing tech and update models based on feedback from engineers and other stakeholders.
Revise and update models based on feedback from engineers and other stakeholders.
Work with the plant individuals on how to improve certain aspects of a device
ssist in the development and implementation of CAD standards and best practices.
Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members.
Teach basic CAD techniques and show others how to look up drawings
Proven experience using CAD to print 3D working models of parts and fixtures.
Proficiency in CAD software such as Unigraphics/NX (preferred), AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
Strong understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
