Benefits Coordinator

Areas of Responsibility:
- Administer employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement plans, HSA/FSA, ESOP).
- Ensure smooth processing of benefits files and compliance with regulations.
- Conduct audits and generate reports to improve processes and support decision-making.
- Manage leave programs (FMLA, CFRA, PDL, ADA, disability) and support employees through their return-to-work process.
- Act as the primary point of contact for employees with benefit questions, claims, and eligibility.
- Lead benefit orientations for new hires and the open enrollment process.
- Collaborate with payroll, IT, and vendors to keep everything running seamlessly.
- Support wellness initiatives and HR projects that enhance employee experience.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and bring new ideas to improve self-service and efficiency.
- Occasionally travel to company locations to provide on-site support and training.
- Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in HR or benefits administration.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
- Proficiency in Human Resource Information Systems
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to maintain confidentiality.
- Skilled in data analysis, reporting, and payroll/benefits administration tools.
- Ability to work effectively as a team player and maintain a positive company image.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills; able to explain complex benefits information clearly.
