Accounting Director

A global leader in food and beverage technology is seeking an Accounting Director North America to oversee and enhance accounting operations across multiple business units. This high-impact role reports to the Senior Accounting Director and plays a key part in driving global standardization, compliance, and operational excellence.

What Youll Do
  • Lead & Develop Teams Manage and mentor a team of ~20 accounting professionals across multiple sites, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
  • Financial Reporting & Compliance Ensure timely and accurate reporting under US GAAP, oversee consolidations, and maintain compliance with SOX and internal controls.
  • Integration & Transformation Lead the integration of acquired entities into the Accounting Center of Excellence model while ensuring effective processes and controls.
  • Process Improvement Drive automation, efficiency, and best practices across North American accounting functions in alignment with global standards.
  • Strategic Partnership Collaborate with senior leadership on risk management, financial performance insights, and special projects to support long-term growth.
What Were Looking For
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
  • 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 7+ years in management.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
  • Proven leadership in managing multi-site teams and complex accounting environments.
  • Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
