Job Description

Do you want to be a part of building something great? HSB Architects + Engineers is seeking an engaged Project Architect to join our growing team. Architects at HSB lead projects, interface directly with clients and work on a fast-paced project team.

HSB Architects + Engineers is a mid-size architecture and engineering firm located in Cleveland, OH, with projects locally and in all 50 states. We are a passionate team over 40 designers, architects and engineers dedicated to creating innovative solutions while being stewards of our client’s ambitions and resources.

Responsibilities:

  • As a technical project lead, we expect this candidate to excel at ground up projects, industrial and other complex project types.
  • Work as part of a multi-disciplinary project team including in-house designers and engineers.
  • Architects at HSB are expected to lead their own projects from schematic design through completion, and grow to understand all aspects of project delivery.
  • Contribute toward the collaborative environment at HSB by participating in job huddles, career mentorship and collaboration with other Interior Designers, Architect and MEP engineers at HSB.
  • Contribute toward Quality Assurance and Quality Control at HSB. Work with senior staff and mentor younger staff in quality project delivery.
  • Seeking leaders, who will contribute toward the culture and project quality at HSB.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, and Master's Degree in Architecture.
  • 8-10 years experience working as an architectural designer or architect.
  • Licensed Architect, or in process of testing for licensure.
  • AutoCAD and Revit proficiency.
  • Technical experience detailing and developing construction drawings.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
