Job Description

The Data Quality Lead - SAP S/4HANA will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing data quality initiatives alongside technical leadership for enterprise-level architecture. The role requires a deep understanding of master data, SAP (including S/4HANA data models), and strong capabilities in business collaboration, data quality metric definition, and project execution.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience in data profiling, data quality metric definition, and rule design.
  • Deep understanding of master data concepts and SAP data structures, with functional knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating business discussions and translating requirements into actionable business rules.
  • Proven ability to lead and execute technical projects independently at the enterprise level.
  • Familiarity with SAP Information Steward or equivalent data management tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of standard change management, incident/problem/change/SLA management procedures.
  • Experience in documenting technical requirements and producing architectural diagrams/solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills for cross-functional work with internal and external resources.
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to learn new technologies and drive continuous innovation.
Key Responsibilities
    • Review data profiling results and define data quality metrics in close collaboration with business stakeholders.
    • Facilitate and guide business discussions to define data quality rules for key domains such as customer, material, supplier, assets, and equipment.
    • Review profiling outcomes with business and IT, identifying actionable data quality business rules for development in SAP Information Steward or comparable platforms.
    • Provide expertise in SAP S/4HANA master data structures and the S/4 data model architecture.
    • Design and recommend data quality rules and assist in the implementation of best practices and emerging standards.
    • Lead technical aspects of data quality projects, drawing and implementing enterprise-level architecture and taking a lead role in project execution.
    • Collaborate with business users, application owners, enterprise architects, and technical architects to define and document solution designs.
    • Oversee and ensure adherence to change management processes for technical changes in production environments.
    • Support operations by assisting in customer discussions, requirements analysis, incident/problem/change/SLA management, and technical documentation.
    • Drive innovation and adopt new technologies through ongoing learning and industry research.
    • Provide direct engagement with customers to support deployment, optimization, and strategy concerning product services and solutions.
    • Assist with compliance activities, including audits, penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and regulatory guideline maintenance.
    • Strong experience in data profiling, data quality metric definition, and rule design.
