Assistant Property Manager – Industrial Portfolio (Chicagoland)

Clear Height Properties is a fast-growing industrial real estate company with a bold vision: 50M SF under management by 2034. We're looking for an Assistant Property Manager who is organized, proactive, and ready to support a high-performing PM team across our Chicagoland industrial portfolio.

What You'll Do

  • Support day-to-day operations across multiple industrial properties

  • Conduct property inspections and coordinate maintenance/repairs

  • Serve as a primary tenant contact; handle requests and resolve issues

  • Assist with tenant move-ins/outs, renewals, and lease administration

  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, COIs, and compliance

  • Support budget preparation and monitor property expenses

  • Help manage capital improvements, work orders, and build-outs

  • Maintain accurate property documentation and reporting

What You Bring

  • 1–3 years in commercial real estate or property management

  • Illinois Real Estate License (or actively working toward it)

  • Strong organization, communication, and follow-through

  • Experience with Yardi, MRI, or similar PM software (preferred)

  • Ability to travel throughout Chicagoland

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems

  • A service-driven, problem-solving mindset

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $55,000–$70,000 DOE

  • Eligibility for quarterly Profit Plan bonuses

  • Eligibility for semi-annual Carried Interest bonuses
