STUDENT - Campus Center Bakery Associate

Job Description:
Join the Dining Services team at Campus Center Retail and gain valuable work experience while enjoying the perks of free meals, shift beverages, and a dynamic work environment. This position provides on-the-job training in food production, being a barista, and customer service. As a student associate, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding guest experience.

- Pay Rate: $15.50/ Hour
- Guest Interaction: Greet guests warmly and provide exceptional customer service.
- Menu Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and allergens.
- Food Safety: Follow all food handling safety procedures, including HACCP regulations, knife safety, and hygiene practices.
- Efficiency and Safety: Ensure effective communication and safety in both kitchen and front-of-house operations.
- Order Preparation: Prepare specialty beverages and sandwiches to order based on Grub Hub tickets.
- Punctuality and Uniform: Arrive on time and adhere to the uniform policy for each shift.
- Workstation Maintenance: Keep your workstation clean and sanitized, adhering to standard operating procedures.
- Food Handling: Take and record food temperatures as required, replenish workstation supplies, and properly dispose of and store food.
- Dining Room Upkeep: Assist with preparing and maintaining the dining room, including cleaning tables, chairs, and high-touch surfaces.
- Guest Assistance: Handle special requests and provide assistance as needed.
- Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with co-workers and management.
- Inventory and Stocking: Assist with inventory management, stocking, and requisitions.
- Timecard Management: Update and submit personal timecards accurately.
- Shift Coverage: Arrange for shift coverage if unable to work and obtain approval from a supervisor or manager.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.
