Job Description
The Master Data and Inventory Specialist will support parts set-ups, planner code updates, X-ref set-ups, and assist with inventory issues and questions. The role reports directly to the Master Data and Inventory Manager. This role will assist with physical inventories for manufacturing facilities spread across the U.S. and Mexico. The ideal candidates will be comfortable leading through influence and collaborating cross-functionally to bring about standardization, visibility, and best practices within a large geographically dispersed division. This position requires the ability to operate strategically and tactically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This role aims to influence plant leaders by working collaboratively with their teams and accounting to continuously evaluate and improve our physical inventories and inventory management day-to-day processes to enhance transactional disciplines and establish high levels of inventory data integrity.
** RESPONSIBILITIES**

Provide support with central physical inventories

Provide coaching, consulting, and mentoring to individual plants on anything related to physical inventory and cycle count management

Identify opportunities to standardize and improve inventory process

Consult with the plants to troubleshoot and bring about resolution to on hand variances

Establish and drive continuous improvement of standard operating procedures for inventory related transactions

Assist with developing & conducting training for plants for new/changed methodologies

Work with procurement to help resolve receiving issues at the plants

Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of physical inventory

Assist with product set-ups, planner code updates, and X-ref updates

Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 plus years with inventory management
- Experience in inventory management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel approximately 25%.
Additional Information
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $60,000-$75,000 __ + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
