Baptist Health is looking to add a Medical Assistant in our Neurology Department at Baptist Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. This opening is a full-time opportunity.
This position is for the Baptist Neurology Baptist Beaches office. The candidate will be responsible for back office tasks for a provider, including rooming patients. Experience preferred. Candidate must detail oriented.
As a Medical Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Provides medical assistance to physician
- Obtains vital signs
- Greets and chaperones patients during medical visit
- Maintains medical documentation
- Schedules care, treatment, diagnostic tests per physician
- Processes prescription requests and referrals

- 3-5 Years Experience working in a Medical Office Preferred
- 2 years Medical Assistant Experience Preferred
