HIRING IMMEDIATELY: WAREHOUSE CLERK IN WOODRIDGE, IL
Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Warehouse Clerk to join our client in Woodridge, IL. This individual is responsible for general warehouse duties such as shipping and receiving orders. The individual will have previous shipping and receiving experience along with basic computer skills. Apply online and kick-start your career today
Pay, Schedule, Location
- $19/hour, paid weekly
- 7:30 pm - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday
- Location in Woodridge, IL
- Greet and assist drivers, vendors, and customers arriving at the shipping/receiving window
- Verify driver credentials, purchase orders (POs), and shipment documentation
- Direct drivers to the correct loading or unloading dock based on appointment schedules
- Provide updates on shipment status, delays, or discrepancies to internal departments or customers
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude in all customer and vendor interactions
- Verify outbound shipments against orders to ensure accuracy in quantity, product, and destination
- Communicate with carriers or logistics partners to confirm appointments and resolve shipping issues
- Ensure correct labeling, documentation, and packaging for all outgoing materials
- Check in drivers and verify incoming shipment documentation (e.g., POs, delivery receipts)
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage, quantity discrepancies, or incorrect items
- Print receipts into the warehouse management or ERP system
- Notify the warehouse team of received goods for unloading and stocking
- Report damaged or incorrect deliveries to purchasing or inventory control for resolution
- Maintain accurate logs of incoming and outgoing shipments
- Record truck arrivals and departures for scheduling and compliance
- File and organize shipping and receiving paperwork daily
- Serve as the main liaison between warehouse operations, carriers, and office personnel
- Communicate special handling requirements or rush orders to the warehouse floor
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety rules, and carrier requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus
- Shipping and receiving experience is a plus
- Basic computer skills is necessary
- Assist with data entry into tracking systems (WMS, ERP, Excel)
