Back-End Developer
Location: Baltimore, MD (Hybrid mode)
Duration: 06 Months plus
Rate: DOE

Duties:
  • Manages Data collection API and Batch framework.
  • Build highly responsive web-based application components that align with business needs. Build code using server-side logic.
  • Write effective, scalable code.
  • Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall application performance. Integrate user-facing elements into applications.
  • Test and debug programs.
Educational Qualification:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Computer
  • Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related scientific or technical discipline.
General Experience:
  • At least 8 years of strong hands-on software development with expertise in Node.js and TypeScript for web application development.
  • Strong proficiency in RESTful API design and development using Node.js and
  • TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including AWS Aurora,
  • ElasticSearch/OpenSearch.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools like QuickSight or Qlik for building interactive dashboards is advantageous.
  • Understanding of data integration and processing concepts in a web application context.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for building scalable and maintainable backend services.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • AWS certifications and experience with AWS cloud services are a plus.
