UI/UX Program Manager

The UIUX program manager is in charge of the UIUX program. This person should be someone who has clear understanding of UIUX design and research based on both education and experience. It could be someone just interested in sharing their knowledge or someone seeking to establish a basis for leveling up from line level to leadership.

If you have worked under poor leaders with poor structure and ill-formed procedure and wish to prove your mettle as a program manager and see things done right, this is the role for you. Showing this on your resume as a job with references from peers and leadership here would open the door for similar paid work (though this is not paid work - we have no paid staff).

The primary responsibilities include establishing program structure, with policy, process, quality criteria, performance criteria, and job descriptions. This person would also be responsible to supporting skill development and assignment. The incumbent should think of this as a lab where they can test ideas and improve outcomes.

For those who are not ready to take the lead, Program Facilitators will support the program manager. We won't list the facilitator role until we have the program manager.
