Regional Product Support Sales Manager Position Purpose
Responsible for leading a team of Product Support Representatives in an assigned territory. The key focus of this position will be on leading and coaching individual contributions and customer support and driving top-line revenue for the territory. They will also be responsible for maintaining back-office support for 6-9 field PSSRs in a fast-paced environment with high levels of urgency to promote real-time communication and quick answers for customers.
Regional Product Support Sales Manager Essential Functions
- Communicates and supports the Kirby Smith vision and core values of One Mission, One Team, One Plan, One Goal
- Coaches and engages individual Product Support Sales Representatives in relationship development and territory management
- Establishes and evaluates personal sales goals for each direct report and develops realistic ways to achieve
- Uses good judgment, discretion, and integrity to review, research, and resolve issues. Considers all factors and takes appropriate action, making good decisions that contribute to the success of direct report employees and achieving Kirby Smith's objectives. Makes decisions regarding matters of importance, including decisions regarding complex issues that are elevated by direct reports
- Continually elevates the importance of Kirby Smith's safety culture
- Actively participates in the building of relationships with customers
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
- Ensures consistent and reliable on-site attendance
Regional Product Support Sales Manager Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred
- Six (6) years of experience in mining maintenance, construction maintenance, sales management, territory management, etc.
- Three (3) Customer Service Experience, Sales Experience, Tech/Mechanical Experience
- Three (3) years’ experience managing a team of five or more
- Proficient with Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and various web-based applications
- Adept at organizing, planning, and task completion to manage a high volume of department paperwork
- Exceptional Interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
Regional Product Support Sales Manager Physical Requirements
- Pushing/Pulling/Lifting/Carrying up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Physical ability to squat, twist, turn, bend, stoop, climb, and reach overhead
- Driving or sitting for long periods
- Ability to hear, listen, see, and touch
- Adheres to personal protective equipment (PPE) policy and maintains individual PPE in functional condition
