About the Role

Firematic is looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Parts Specialist to support our customers and service teams. This position plays a critical role in keeping fire apparatus and equipment running by ensuring the right parts are identified, ordered, and delivered quickly and accurately. If you have strong parts knowledge and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and source fire truck body parts using manufacturer catalogs, technical diagrams, and internal systems.

  • Provide expert support to technicians, shop staff, and customers regarding parts selection, availability, and lead times.

  • Process orders accurately, ensuring parts are picked, packaged, and shipped on schedule.

  • Track inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and assist with warehouse organization to maintain accuracy.

  • Work directly with manufacturers and suppliers to resolve backorders, substitutions, and updated part numbers.

  • Assist walk-in customers and respond to phone/email inquiries with professionalism and urgency.

  • Collaborate with service teams to ensure parts are staged and ready for scheduled jobs.

  • Receive all shipments from vendors.

  • Ensure warranty parts are processed and returned timely

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and parts room.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in truck, heavy equipment, or body parts preferred.

  • Knowledge of Pierce or other fire truck manufacturers a plus.

  • Ability to interpret schematics, service manuals, and exploded diagrams.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Proficiency with order entry, inventory management systems, and shipping platforms (UPS WorldShip, XPO, etc.).

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
