OverviewThe Office Assistant provides vital support to the Office of Admissions by undertaking various administrative and office-related tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, a team player with a strong work ethic, committed to maintaining a welcoming and efficient office environment, and discreet in handling sensitive information.
Responsibilities- Assist the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions with recording and organizing information.
- Greet visitors and check in guests for campus tours.
- Answer phone calls and assist with incoming and outgoing calls.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail.
- Assist in packaging materials for recruitment travel and maintaining inventory in the supply room.
- Support other office duties as assigned.
- Must have a Federal Work Study award for the current academic term.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage information accurately and discreetly.
- Team player with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- On-call flexibility to handle occasional tasks as they arise.
- Strong organizational skills for managing office supplies and coordinating administrative tasks.

- Position Type: Part-time or Temporary (consistent with work-study)

$12.00/hr
