Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7-9 years of experience designing LAN/WAN/Datacenter solutions for large enterprises.
  • Proficient with IP routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and RIP in a large enterprise environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and updating technical design documentation.
  • CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE Certification preferred, especially in Datacenter environments.
  • Strong experience in Business to Business Extranet Connectivity including transport, resiliency, NAT, and VPN.
  • Proven experience in configuring Cisco and Arista routers/switches.
  • Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage partners and stakeholders to support critical business decisions.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of layer 2 switching protocols such as Spanning Tree, Trunking, and Etherchannel.
  • Knowledge of HSRP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, Multicast, Ethernet, EVPN, MLAG, CVP.
  • Understanding of DNS/domain services.
  • Experience with Python, Ansible, and GITHUB is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Change control processes, specifically Service Now.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computers or Electronics with 7-9 years of networking experience.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in implementing network security policies across routers and firewalls.
  • Manage production networks including Internet Protocol backbone, data centers, and edge pops globally.
  • Ensure continuous availability of all data network services.
  • Identify gaps, risks, and issues and navigate organizational structures to resolve them.
  • Perform quarterly proactive network testing for proper functioning and reliability.
  • Investigate and remediate network capacity-related issues.
  • Design and implement secure network solutions in accordance with security and regulatory policies.
  • Provide resolution information and work with other teams for impact analysis.
  • Deliver comprehensive maintenance plans for change management review and approval.
  • Mentor and train network operations team in installation, configuration, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Infrastructure teams to improve standards and policies.
