We're seeking an experienced QA Software Engineer who is ready to build and own a complete testing function for a fast-growing company developing advanced software and hardware solutions in the simulation technology sector. This is a high-impact, hands-on role - ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy and wants to define and lead testing practices across multiple product lines.

You will work closely with a talented team of software engineers spanning front end, back end, and XR development. Your responsibilities will include establishing manual testing processes, introducing automation over time, and ensuring quality standards are upheld across both cloud-based applications and physical hardware devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the QA function end-to-end - from strategy to execution.
  • Establish and lead manual and automated testing procedures across multiple product lines.
  • Develop and execute test cases and scripts for front-end, back-end, and XR software, as well as on-premise hardware products.
  • Implement and maintain automated end-to-end testing (Playwright or equivalent tools).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve issues quickly.
  • Continuously improve test coverage, workflows, and QA standards across the organization.
  • Drive efficient, timely testing of new product initiatives and support rapid release cycles.
Tech Stack & Tools
  • Experience with Playwright or similar automated testing frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Angular (v12 or later) is a plus.
  • Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms is beneficial.
  • Exposure to both software and physical product testing is a strong advantage.
What Success Looks Like
  • Within the first 3 months, you're conducting timely test runs on new product initiatives, surfacing issues quickly, and establishing reliable QA processes.
  • By 6 months, you're introducing and scaling automated testing to improve coverage and efficiency.
  • Over time, you're driving comprehensive testing practices across the organization and becoming the go-to QA authority.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in QA or Software Testing roles, ideally with both manual and automated testing.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and collaborate across teams.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, growth-stage environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks, cloud environments, and end-to-end automation tools.
