Director Product Manager - FDAM - Asset Management Technology

The Role

An ideal candidate for this role will bring deep expertise in blockchain technologies to translate complex business problems into clear blockchain-enabled solutions. The candidate will bridge business, product and engineering teams to deliver decentralized products and digital asset solutions for financial asset management with real-world impact. The role requires strong understanding of decentralized architecture, tokenomics, DeFi protocols, working of smart contracts, Web3 ecosystem, and rapidly evolving regulatory and competitive landscape and scalable distributed systems with a passion for enabling business outcomes. The Product Manager will work with engineering teams, collaborate with business, product and technology stakeholders for Fidelity Digital Asset Management within Asset management Technology. In this role the individual will also play a key role in translating business requirements into clear functional specifications, process models, user stories and feasibility analysis for build-buy decisions which will contribute to the product and technology roadmap aligned to the business strategy. The Expertise and Skills You Bring

• 10-12 years experience in business and product analysis with strong functional understanding of blockchain concepts: toeknomics, token standards, consensus mechanism, smart contracts, tokenization, DeFi protocols for primarily public blockchains like Ethereum, Solana and private DLTs

• Experience in asset management, financial services, capital markets, fintech will be an added advantage

• Experience in writing user stories, epics, acceptance criteria and documenting business workflows

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills with which you influence decisions and engagement across all levels of the organization

• Promotes and demonstrates a learning mindset by staying abreast of emerging trends in blockchain ecosystem

• Committed and inspirational leader capable of developing associates & leaders to achieve their fullest potential within their job family and career goals

• Proven ability to collaborate across teams, with peers and leadership teams to align team objectives, KPIs and standards to accelerate business delivery.

• Work closely with globally distributed product, engineering and business teams across regions which will include working across time zones and travel for business workshops, planning sessions and meetings

The Team

As a member of the Asset Management technology team, you will be part of the team which supports the Fidelity Asset Management business.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000-222,000 USD per year.

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidates relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
