We are an established General Contractor and Developer seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our growing team. With a robust pipeline of work ahead, you'll take the lead on dynamic projects ranging from $250K to $30M+, translating vision into reality by effectively balancing budgets, schedules, teams, and client expectations.

This full-time, MondayFriday role occasionally requires weekend hours based on project needs and timelines. The focus is on the pre-construction and construction phasesproject acquisition is handled by other members of our team.

Youll divide your time between the office and job sites, providing essential leadership and decision-making. If you have experience managing HUD and IHDA projects and thrive in a fast-paced, solution-driven environment, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

Project Planning & Scheduling

• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to define/modify scope
• Forecast labor, materials, and equipment needs
• Adjust schedules proactively to avoid delays
  
  

Budget & Cost Management

• Create and manage project budgets
• Track expenses and control costs throughout the project lifecycle
• With Synergy leaders, approve invoices and change orders
• Ensure financial accountability and profitability
  
  

Team Leadership & Coordination

• Supervise and manage subcontractors and construction crews
• Delegate tasks and monitor performance
• Resolve conflicts and maintain team morale
• Ensure everyone understands project goals and expectations
  
  

Compliance & Safety Oversight

• Ensure adherence to building codes, permits, and legal regulations
• Maintain OSHA compliance and enforce safety protocols
• Conduct regular site inspections and address hazards immediately
  
  

Communication

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and internal teams
• Provide regular updates and status reports
• Communicate technical details clearly to non-technical stakeholders
• Manage expectations and build trust
  
  

Quality Control & Risk Management

• Monitor construction quality and ensure standards are met
• Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Handle disputes and unexpected challenges with professionalism
  
  

Contract & Documentation Management

• Draft and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records
• Oversee permits, licenses, and inspections
  
  

What You Bring

Experience

• 10+ years in building construction, including 7+ years in a project management role
• Experience with HUD/IHDA compliance strongly preferred
  
  

Knowledge

• Strong understanding of both residential and commercial construction
• Strong business and financial acumen
• Exceptional communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently
• Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and project management software (Sage/Master Builder)
  
  

Education & Certifications

• Bachelors degree (BSc/BA) in Engineering, Building Science, Construction Management, or a closely related field
• OSHA 30 certification strongly preferred
• Construction PMP Certification a plus
