A Day in the LifeThe Global Product Manager, as part of the DS Commercial Marketing Team, owns and manages the Global Transvenous Device portfolio. This role will be responsible for full product lifecycle management including the development and execution of global marketing strategies to drive acceleration of the DS portfolio, phase out of legacy products, and the commercial execution of next generation products.

The Defibrillation Solutions (DS) business is made up of the foundational therapies of Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator business (ICD) and Cardiac Resynchronization Therapy Defibrillators (CRT?D). The DS product portfolio is among the largest revenue contributors across Medtronic with an extensive global footprint and exciting growth opportunities.
Position DescriptionAs part of the Defibrillation Solutions (DS) Integrated Operating Unit, the Commercial Marketing organization is seeking a driven, passionate, and global-minded Global Product Manager DS Transvenous Devices. The Global Product Manager, as part of the DS Commercial Marketing Team, owns and manages the Global Transvenous Device portfolio. This role will be responsible for full product lifecycle management including the development and execution of global marketing strategies to drive acceleration of the DS portfolio, phase out of legacy products, and the commercial execution of next generation products.

A Day in the Life- Collaborates with regional marketing partners on commercial strategies and tactics across the portfolio lifecycle to accelerate mix of core portfolio, phase out of legacy products, and seamlessly introduce our future portfolio ensuring local execution accelerates global success while maximizing revenue and profitability.
- Serve as the primary and trusted product expert for our transvenous device portfolio, leveraging deep device and therapy expertise to inspire confidence among customers and colleagues. Drive meaningful impact by proactively initiating and engaging in customer visits to promote and advance our core portfolio.
- Drive geography expansion strategies, scaling launch success globally while tailoring execution to local market dynamics. Partner closely with regulatory, software, demand planning, and regional partners to determine launch readiness and support launch as needed.
- Align with finance, supply chain and operations to manage accurate global demand forecasts and mix assumptions, demonstrating strong business and financial acumen.
- Utilize market research and analytics to understand local segments, competitive dynamics, and customer needs, ensuring launch and ongoing portfolio strategy delivers against ambitious business objectives.
- Serve as the downstream marketing leader on the R&D Product Development Core Team, collaborating with upstream marketing to ensure regional input, customer feedback, analytics, and market insights guide development and execution.
- Lead the global commercial launch team for our next generation products, using data driven insights orchestrate all aspects of the global launch strategy including, messaging, positioning, customer segmentation, pricing, and phase?in/phase?out plans to maximize revenue and margin.
- Partner cross?functionally (Clinical, R&D, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Training & Education, Sales Enablement, Medical Education, Sales) and play the conductor to align all launch partners around a single, coordinated execution plan.
- Prioritize initiatives and resources effectively to maximize portfolio impact while balancing short?term and long?term global and regional needs.
- Bachelors degree with 4 years of progressive experience in marketing, sales, or technical roles (minimum 2 years with an advanced degree).
- Proven expertise in product management and/or project management, with a track record of driving initiatives from strategy through execution.
- Experienced in Microsoft applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Medical device experience, ideally within cardiac rhythm space or a highly technical clinical environment.
- Proven product launch success, from strategy through execution, with measurable business impact.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand complex device algorithms and therapies and translate them into compelling value propositions.
- Global marketing perspective, demonstrated through developing and executing strategic plans across geographies, product lines, and diverse customer segments.
- Sales orientation and collaboration mindset, with experience partnering effectively with high?performing sales organizations.
- High?energy, hands?on approach with team?oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation and influence management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
- Willingness to travel (~ 15?20?%) as required to support field teams and business initiatives.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$103,200.00 - $154,800.00 This position is eligible for a short?term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP). The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long?term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well?being program).
