Restaurant General Manager - Queens, NY
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations at a busy fast-casual restaurant in Queens, NY. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with strong operational skills, a passion for customer service, and the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring a consistent and excellent guest experience.
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor staff to deliver top-quality service and uphold company standards.
- Manage scheduling, labor costs, and staffing to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and consistency, ensuring compliance with recipes and standards.
- Handle inventory management, ordering, and vendor relationships.
- Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
- Monitor financial performance, including sales, costs, and profitability, and take action to meet goals.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally, fostering customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Implement and oversee operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
- 3+ years of restaurant management experience in a fast-casual or high-volume environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a team.
- Proven track record in financial management, labor control, and operational efficiency.
- Hands-on approach to management and problem-solving.
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations software.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
