Data Analyst

• 5+years with Data Analyst experience and should be able to collect, Process and analyze large financial datasets
• Interpret data trends and patterns to provide actionable insights
• Proficient/advanced SQL skills with the ability to write and optimize queries.
• Capital markets /banking domain exp, Knowledge in banking products, payment domain, regulatory reporting, data analytics

• Proficiency in Excel, BI tools, or other data visualization platforms is a plus.
• 10+ years experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), core data management, data quality and governance experience.
• 6 + years of experience in Financial Services required
• Demonstrate leadership in managing large and complex regulatory and data transformation programs
• Understanding of products including Banking, Global Markets, Loans, Commercial Banking and Services.

• 5+ years defining use cases to articulate new functional software needs and the roles of each class of application usage.
• 2+ years experience with SharePoint, JIRA, and Confluence
• 3+ years experience working with SQL, data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI for reporting and metrics.

• Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures given the scale of systems and data landscape including data acquisition, CDO and technical teams, the ideal person will have very good mix of functional and technical skills to implement solution for data provisioning, data governance and data consumption for all regulatory and management reports.
• Collaborate with stakeholders/partners to take forward data strategies and be engaged with them continuously to support new data demand onboarding to the Data fabric.
• Becomes a resident expert in the Technology Data plan and the target state architecture to enable the ability to drive execution progress and remove obstacles with authority
• Provides IT strategic direction for projects managed including developing detailed IT work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, tracking of plans, risks/issues/dependencies and providing status reports.
• Provide technical expertise and/or partner with technology leads to ensure the efficient design, development and implementation and to ensure essential procedures are followed in data space
• < /span>Resolve issues that have impact beyond own area and apply in-depth understanding of business analysis concepts and procedures and basic knowledge of other areas
• Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and procedures within data warehouse / data lake management and other related areas to understand interfaces and resolve issues.

• Integrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goals.
• Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties, as necessary.

• Ability to run meetings and workshops to drive data solutions with groups of senior stakeholders in concise and efficient manner.

• SQL & Data Analysis
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
• Perform data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation to ensure accuracy.
• Generate reports and dashboards for business insights.
• Capital Markets & Financial Knowledge:
• Apply Capital markets /banking domain knowledge to analyze trading and market data.
• Work with stakeholders to understand financial products, risk exposure, and trade lifecycle processes
• Collaborate with teams to optimize trade data and reporting systems.
• Reconcile financial data and support accounting teams in maintaining data integrity.
• Assist in financial reporting, audits, and regulatory compliance.
• Business Analysis:
• Gather and document business requirements for data-driven initiatives.
• Work with cross-functional teams to improve data workflows and reporting frameworks.

• Identify inefficiencies and propose solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.

Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000 per year
