Essential Functions Leads International Supply ChainDirects and leads the FOCUS Brands International sourcing/procurement, supplier management, logistics, vendor negotiations strategies, programs, and processes.Effectively leads a team that sources and negotiates pricing with local, regional and global vendors in their respective regions and countries.Develops effective local or regional supply chain solutions in FOCUS Brands strategic markets to reduce the overall cost of goods while maintaining brand quality standards.Drives the strategy creation of new supply chains for new market entry and regional supply chains as regional scale is realized.Develops effective supply chain strategies that link domestic and/or international manufacturers and vendors with points of export creating efficiencies of scale and minimizing in-land freight costs.Partners with multi-disciplinary/cross functional teams in strategizing and implementing various new product innovations and operating models.Provides leadership by developing and maintaining relationships with associates, franchise partners, and other key constituents to drive results.Works effectively with domestic Supply Chain teams to insure brand cohesion and global supply chain synergy.Works closely with the Global QA function on international QA programs/standards, ensuring food safety and promoting efficient and achievable approval pathways for new international suppliers.Develop mission critical cost savings initiatives, and set, track, and report on the progress of the initiatives.Work with wide latitude of interdependency to make recommendations and decisions to connect Operators to Supply Chain solutions.Lead a team of 5-7 Supply Chain Business Partners, US corporate office based and remotely field based. Builds and Directs a High Functioning TeamHolds others accountable for conducting business in a legal and ethical manner while complying with policies, laws, and regulations related to business and employment.Oversees people, processes, and programs across the team to ensure talent for current and future needs by providing operational, functional, and technical leadership.Attracts, retains, and develops highly effective professionals and support staff.Cultivates a bench of leadership and talent to deliver results and support future growth.Determines work methods and directs the work of associates.Drives the establishment of performance goals and provides on-going feedback, coaching, and development to enhance the team's performance and capability, to facilitate open communication, and to encourage continuous performance improvement.Evaluates and determines the hiring, promotion, salary recommendations, and all employment-related decisions.Identifies individual and team skill gaps, developmental areas, and opportunities (, training, special assignments, projects, etc.) to advance individual and team capability.Recognizes initiative, innovation, and work well done to create a positive work environment of excellence Job Summary The Director, International Supply Chain serves as a senior business leader that strategically supports the FOCUS Brands International Team. The Director coaches and directs the International Supply Chain Team, providing strategic guidance and leadership support for the supply chain associates. In addition, the Director leads a team that ensures the vendors deliver excellent customer service and high quality / safe products, while continually looking for ways to improve franchisee ULE in a dynamic Director is expected to develop and implement supply chain strategies to meet the business needs of FOCUS Brands. The Director is entrusted with leading a team that connects field team members and operators to key stakeholders across the supply chain, and the organization, to deliver unique solutions. The Director provides strategic counsel to the International Supply Chain Team in support of the field team and operators, and their restaurant teams for urgent and strategic supply chain issues and opportunities to support operators’ business growth.Critical to success in this role, building effective relationships with the cross-functional team and operators by partnering with the brand and support teams, and strategic business partners across the supply chain.
