This Electrical and Instrumentation Technician position will support the DuPont Teijin Films as it relates to advanced To satisfy the site's electrical needs including the installation, maintenance, and repair of the plant equipment in a safe, timely, and craftsman-like manner. Work Experience / Prior Skills & Knowledge Required Education Associate degree in Instrumentation or Engineering Technology or a completed apprenticeship program 3 years or more previous industrial or military experience Basic Electricity, ability to read schematics, use test equipment, and use hand tools. Analytical Thinking Electronics and Instrumentation Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), and computers Process Control & Monitoring Equipment & Technologies Electrical Safety and National Electric Code General process (film-making & Polymer) understanding To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of or be able to learn SAP plant maintenance software; move around in site's and company's Intranet; and communicate through e-mail software such as Lotus Notes. Performs High Voltage (13,200 Vac) switching for Substation PM and repair work. Performs simple maintenance and electrical tasks such as mounting objects (cabinets, pictures, etc.) to wall and relamping assigned areas, repairing electrical switches and outlets. ISO Audits Perform Capital Project work. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Must be able to pass electrical training classes. Must participate in regular refresher courses as they are scheduled and assigned.
