SummaryThe Domain Architect, Data Management, is a technical partner within Workiva’s Data Management Practice. This role supports customers and partners through onboarding, implementation, and adoption of Workiva solutions, applying expertise in data management, integration, and automation to deliver long-term value.The Domain Architect engages directly with customers and partners, working closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable data management solutions. By combining technical and business acumen with a focus on customer outcomes, the Architect fosters strong relationships and helps organizations realize measurable value from Workiva’s platform.What You'll Do Collaborate with customers to understand their business needs, data requirements, and desired outcomes with Workiva solutions.Engage with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams to ensure a cohesive and positive customer experience throughout onboarding and implementationAnalyze customer needs and recommend optimal use of Workiva's Data Management Suite to achieve accurate, efficient, and scalable solutionsWork closely with consulting project delivery stakeholders to define tasks, contribute to project plans, and monitor progressReview and establish data integration workflows between various customer systems and the Workiva platformReview and develop data queries and reporting solutions that meet customer analytical and reporting requirements, including mentoring internal and external stakeholders on leading practicesSupport knowledge sharing sessions with customer and partner application owners to enable self-sufficiency and ongoing success.Review and create documentation for deployed customer and partner solutions, configurations, and best practicesSupport customer and partner success by fostering product adoption, ensuring satisfaction, and contributing to overall customer healthCollaborate with Customer Success and Partner Experience teams to define expected outcomes and demonstrate the value realized by customers and partnersAccurately document new and existing data management features and functionalities for internal and external referenceStay educated on the Workiva product roadmap to provide effective support and guidance to customersWhat You'll NeedMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in a technical field of study such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar3 years of experience in customer-facing roles such as Customer Success, Solution Architecture, or ConsultingBilingual in Portuguese (Native/Executive level) Must be available to work during core business hours in the Eastern Time (ET) zonePreferred QualificationsCandidates must be able to work standard business hours in the Eastern Time Zone (ET)Experience integrating or managing Software-as-a-Service applications and enterprise systems, especially in the fields of Accounting & Finance, Audit, Risk & Compliance, or SustainabilityExpertise in various data structures and schemas from regulated industries (e.g., finance, audit, compliance, sustainability, etc.) with the ability to translate complex regulatory data requirements into intuitive, software-driven workflowsPrior experience with integration technologies such as Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, Boomi, Mulesoft, Workato, or similar solutions.Knowledge of API design philosophy/patterns, communication protocols (SOAP, REST, JSON, XML), and encodingStrong understanding of Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, and ETL techniquesAbility to create, review, and troubleshoot queries using SQL.Experience with Python Passionate about customer success and driving long-term customer valueHighly data-driven and detail-orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skillsSelf-starter with the ability to manage time and prioritize demands.Strong problem-solving skills with technical diagnostic abilityGeneral computer technology skills (Word/Google Docs, Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Google Slides)Ability to build credibility and relationships with both business stakeholders and technical leaders at various levelsAbility to influence at all levels and in various departmentsTravel Requirements and Working Conditions15% Travel for internal meetingsReliable internet access for any period of time working remotely and not in a Workiva officeHow You’ll Be Rewarded✅ Salary range in the US: $111,000.00 - $178,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits packageThe salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US.
