Director, Global Commercial Team, Rheumatology

To help realize our ambitions, the argenx Global Commercial Team is looking for a Director to support our (pre)launch efforts in our key late stage rheumatology indications.In this key role, you will be responsible to help develop and execute the commercial strategy for one of our key assets in one or multiple late-stage indications. You will take a lead role in developing and ensuring integrated execution of our core global (pre-)launch efforts as part of the cross-functional Indication Commercialization Team.This role can be based virtually or on-site, ideally within proximity to one of our European, or East Coast US based hubs.Roles and Responsibilities:Support the development and execution of launch and commercialization strategies, focusing on key global and priority markets/regions.Help build an integrated global indication brand strategy that considers short- and long-term brand/franchise impacts, ensuring strong alignment and integration across cross-functional teams, regional and country perspectives.Lead the development of comprehensive brand plans and associated key initiatives and ensuring commensurate optimal resource allocation to maximize brand impactLead the insight-driven development of branding, messaging, and market activation strategies to maximize launch impact and sustained commercial success.Drive the development of the global launch campaign, co-creating it with key market stakeholders to ensure it is culturally relevant, distinctive, and enduringIdentify strategic partnerships and collaborations to establish and enhance the brands, and argenx’, market positionTake ownership of key strategic initiatives as part of the cross-functional Indication Commercialization Team (ICT), responsible for defining the commercial product strategy throughout its lifecycleFoster ongoing insights development by collaborating internally and externally, ensuring data-driven decision-making for the brandMonitor and analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to inform brand strategy adjustmentsRepresent argenx’ at industry conferences and build relationships with key opinion leaders and other key stakeholdersEnsure that strategy and business assumptions are executable at in- and above market level and align with corporate priorities and cultural pillarsBasic Qualifications: Master’s degree and 8+ years of marketing experience2+ years of experience in global strategic marketing/commercial roles paired with strong in-market commercial experience. Global brand launch and commercialization expertise, particularly for pipeline products and late-stage assets with multiple indicationsMBA in business or health sciences or additional education in biology, chemistry, life sciences preferredPreferred Qualifications: Deep understanding of (auto)immune and rare diseases, with experience in Rheumatology, or other Immunology related therapeutic areas being highly preferredRobust understanding of the legal, regulatory and commercial environment across major global markets (US, EU, Japan) highly preferredAbility to lead and execute integrated, cross-functional commercialization strategiesExperience leading cross-functional project teams and agencies in a matrixed environmentStrong HCP engagement and relationship management skillsStrong agency and project management experienceAnalytical skills with the ability to synthesize market insights and make objective, data-driven decisions#LI-Remote‎ For applicants in the United States: The annual base salary hiring range for this position is $196,000.00 - $294,000.00 USD. This range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. Individual compensation is determined using objective, inclusive, and job-related criteria such as relevant experience, skills, demonstrated competencies and internal equity. This means actual pay may differ from the posted range when justified by these factors. Because market conditions evolve, pay ranges are reviewed regularly and may be adjusted to remain aligned with external benchmarks.This job is eligible to participate in our short-term and long-term incentive programs, subject to the terms and conditions of those plans and applicable policies.
