About the role:As a Writer, you will be at the forefront of crafting compelling and persuasive messaging that resonates with our client’s target audience. You will collaborate closely with our Account Project Manager, Motion Designer, and Digital Designer, and partner with one of the largest rural lifestyle retailers based in Nashville, TN to develop impactful content across various channels, including digital platforms, email campaigns, and more. Your words will captivate and inspire, driving engagement, awareness, and action. Our ideal candidate comes from an advertising agency, loves to write, and has worked on a wide range of digital projects. Your creativity, strategic thinking, and storytelling prowess will play a pivotal role in shaping the perception of our client’s brand and fostering meaningful connections with their audience. What you will be doing:  Develop creative and engaging copy for a wide range of marketing materials, including social content, advertisements, banners, website content, email campaigns, product descriptions, and more. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product objectives, target audience insights, and brand messaging guidelines. Partner with Designers, Marketers, and other Stakeholders to ensure alignment between copy and visual elements, maintaining brand consistency and cohesion. Conceptualize and execute innovative ideas that effectively communicate the brand story, values, and unique selling propositions.Stay attuned to industry trends, competitor strategies, audience preferences, and best practices to ensure messaging remains relevant and impactful. Edit and proofread copy to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand voice and style guidelines. Continuously optimize and iterate content based on performance data, user feedback, and evolving business goals. Ensure deliverables align with the objectives outlined in the project brief. Develop a deep understanding of target audience's tone of voice and the client’s marketing strategy to drive desired brand actions. What you need to be great in this role: 3+ years proven experience as a Writer in a fast-paced marketing, advertising, or design environment, with a strong emphasis on tone of voice development and implementation. 3 years’ experience writing copy for collateral, ads, landing pages, banners, website, digital content, social content, etc. Demonstrated ability to combine and translate brand tone of voice into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audience.Prior experience managing cross-functional projects and possess well developed project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to effectively articulate concepts and provide constructive feedback. Exceptional writing skills with a keen eye for detail and a strong command of grammar, punctuation, and syntax. Creative mindset with the ability to think strategically and develop fresh, innovative ideas, and a distinctive brand voice. Strong problem-solving skills, with an aptitude to translate business objectives into compelling narratives. Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of writing samples that demonstrate ability to develop and maintain a consistent tone of voice across various formats and channels. Basic understanding and genuine interest in artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, displaying a curiosity for exploring its applications and potential impact.Basic knowledge in Asana. At the time of this posting, the base salary for this position may range from $80,000 to $85,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications.
