So, if our mission speaks to you, join us The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of clinical risk adjustment education/ training materials, conducts and coordinates education to consist of documentation related to risk adjustment concepts presented to physicians, providers and internal stakeholders. Produces and maintains risk adjustment educational materials, tools, and/or documents. Contributes as a clinical risk adjustment subject matter expert. This position may coordinate or assist with clinical concurrent or retrospective documentation reviews and education based on organizational needs.  The work you will do: Supports the development, distribution, and evaluation of risk adjustment educational efforts of the Clinical Documentation & Quality team in conjunction with organizational goals and objectives. Assists with the development of clinical education and training, which may include preparation of related clinical educational materials and expansion of programs related to risk adjustment concepts. Takes part in the planning and direction of risk adjustment education programs for new physicians/providers; provides introduction to risk adjustment concepts, clarifies standards; provides coding knowledge essential to accurately document and code for risk adjustable chronic conditions. Support, develops and sustains a clinical risk adjustment education calendar; facilitates tracking of education conducted to specific providers. Develops and maintains programs with educational materials and procedures that are specific to clinical risk adjustment concepts using a variety of learning and evaluation tactics. Works with team partners collaboratively to design and develop clinical educational materials and programs to allow for effective and relevant clinical risk adjustment education to health care providers. Develops tactical plans for educating health care providers utilizing a variety of teaching/educational methods to ensure positive risk adjustment outcomes. Promotes consistent practices for risk adjustment related provider education throughout the organization. The skills and qualifications you need: Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) Preferred  Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse License. 5-7+ years of experience with Risk Adjustment HCC coding, Clinical Chart Review and Provider Education. Comprehensive understanding of HCC coding rules & regulations Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Must be proficient with Excel functions to develop data trends (pivot tables, graphs, etc).
