Technical Business Analyst

Responsibilities Must possess expert-level traditional business analyst skills but are also expected to have proficiency in technical disciplines within data management and/or application development. Responsible for leading businesses in implementing technology solutions in a cost-effective manner by determining the requirements of a project or program, leading or participating in the solutioning and design of requirements implementation and communicating results to/obtaining signoff from stakeholders.Technical Business Analysts may be assigned by project or technology platform and are expected to participate in every stage of the software development and/or implementation lifecycle, from analysis and design through testing, release, and maintenance while adhering to current Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes.Technical Business Analysts are expected to work closely with various customers including their immediate project teams, business unit representatives and other technical staff members, often facilitating and coordinating the communication among all parties, including vendors. Responsible for complex business projects providing strong advice and counsel to their customers on solution options, timelines, designs, and implementation. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience5+ years of experience in Information Technology and business/industry5+ years’ experience working on moderate-to-complex projects or systemsAPI Analysis & Testing – Must be able to review and interpret API documentation from external partners, validate API functionality through hands-on testing using tools like Postman or Swagger and identify gaps, inconsistencies, and potential integration issuesTroubleshooting & Issue Resolution – Must be able to investigate and resolve API-related issues during testing and implementation, and work closely with developers and vendors to identify root causesStrong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XMLFamiliarity with integration patterns and data mappingStrong background translating business requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with both business and IT stakeholders, creating technical documentationAgile/Lean methodologies, Waterfall experience preferredKnowledge of testing stages through the SDLC and ability to write and execute test plans and casesExperience with conversion of business and functional requirements to use cases, epics, and stories with acceptance criteriaExtensive background with requirements gathering and analysisStrong verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to both business and technical teamsEngagement of developers and business partners to achieve target outcomesSystem integration design based on requirements Quantification of estimates and resource requirementSalesforce knowledge is a plus About Our Company H.W.
