You Belong Here. Patient Care Tech - PCT – Cardiac Surgery Stepdown Full Time – Rotating Shift – 36 hours. The Cardiovascular Progressive Care Unit (CVPCU) is a 32-bed adult inpatient surgical unit. The unit offers 3 levels of care: floor, telemetry, and intermediate care for acute cardiac, vascular, and other surgical patients requiring cardiac monitoring. Care and services provided: coronary artery bypass, Heartmate© II or III & Heartware© mechanical circulatory support devices, valve replacement or repairs, Type A & B aortic dissections, fem-pop bypass, scalenectomy, TAVR, heart or lung transplantation.
