Role and ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary: The Senior IT Project Manager plays a critical role in driving successful delivery of technology and business transformation initiatives at TridentCare. This position directly supports the VP of IT PMO & Transformation and is responsible for managing complex projects, enhancing project governance, and ensuring that key initiatives deliver tangible business value. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a commitment to continuous improvement within a multi-site, healthcare services environment. Key Responsibilities: Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of complex IT and business transformation projects. Support the development and rollout of PMO standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the enterprise. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners to define project objectives, scope, deliverables, and success criteria. Develop detailed project plans, budgets, and resource allocations; proactively manage changes and communicate impacts. Facilitate regular status updates, steering committee meetings, and executive presentations. Identify project risks, dependencies, and issues; implement effective mitigation and resolution strategies. Ensure adherence to change management processes and compliance with PMO methodologies and quality standards. Contribute to portfolio-level reporting, benefits tracking, and continuous improvement initiatives. Mentor junior project managers and foster a culture of accountability and transparency within the PMO. Required Skills and Qualifications: EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred). · PMP or equivalent project management certification strongly preferred. · – years of experience managing complex IT and business projects in a structured PMO environment; healthcare industry experience a plus. · Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting. · Strong financial and vendor management skills. · Advanced skills in project management tools (, ServiceNow PPM, MS Project, Smartsheet, Jira). · Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate with executive stakeholders. ·
