We are looking for a passionate individual who will implement the data and information strategy to systematically leverage the organization’s data assets for evidence-based decision-making and actionable insights. They will also perform high-level business analysis one end to end business processes, focusing primarily on understanding the data, its sources, its flows, its users, and its purpose to develop a conceptual model of the data relationships. Responsibilities:Business Intelligence and Data AnalysisCaptures and defines all of the organization's current data and information assets in order to develop a clear and complete model of the data and of the interrelationships between the various data elements. Establishes an authoritative data inventory. Ensures that the data supports reporting and information sharing needs of the organizationMaps the flow of data through various processes and data sources, in order to support operational processes as well as feed decision makers with appropriate dataAnalyses user requirements for reports, queries, and data extractionExtracts, filters, and merges data sets from multiple data sources. Perform data transformation, exploration, and analysis according to cross-functional requirementsHigh-Level Business AnalysisEnsures a clear understanding of current and optimized business processesParticipates in business analysis activities of all relevant projects to support the implementation of the organization's Data StrategyDocuments the gaps and inefficiencies in our existing processesPrepared documents such as business process diagrams, data flow diagrams, flowcharts, requirement documents, functional specifications, use cases, and user stories in support of a data-centric transformationQualifications:University degree in computer science, data science, information science, business or another relevant degree, or an acceptable combination of education/experienceExperience in business analysis and information governance would be a strong assetOne to Five years’ experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and data analysisExperience in eliciting and documenting data requirements in data modelsExperience using business intelligence, data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools, including visualizationExperience in mapping data and information flowsBilingual in both English and FrenchJob ID: 9D528484512 If you are interested in this position and meet the qualifications, apply today We thank all applicants; however, only those who are authorized to work in Canada or are selected for an interview will be contacted.
