Senior Photography Specialist in  GAC SavannahUnique Skills:Expert knowledge and operation of Canon photography equipment. Advanced photography editing and compositing skills. (Adobe Photoshop). Refined customer engagement skills. Mastery of lighting, composition, color, digital file formats. High comfort level with conducting, directing and overseeing photography shoots in studio, on location, travel, portraits, events, aviation (aerial and on ground), actors and models. Ability to manage, tag, archive and oversee large amounts of image assets. Ability to work cross-functionally with other creative teams.  Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor's Degree Fine Arts in Photography or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 5 years Related experience to include experience in a commercial photography lab. 5 years experience operating digital camera equipment. Position Purpose:Under minimum supervision, the Sr Specialist Photography creates professional-quality photographs using a high degree of both technical expertise and creativity for sales and marketing, completions, corporate communications and legal.Job DescriptionPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: Supports all company departmental requests to produce photography by planning and executing requirements including analyzing subject, selection of lighting, location, lenses and camera equipment. Serves as principal source for processing film and digital assets and conversion from RAW to various formats including color correction and enhancements as necessary using computer software and hardware. Produces photography in various methods including printed / digital media and delivers final product to various sources including customers, media, graphic designers and corporate communications. Operates highly specialized photographic equipment including latest Phase 1 digital technology and Hasselblad camera (P25). Maintains and operates Noritsu Printer including replenishing chemistry and clean up of equipment, orders supplies and liaisons with vendor to perform preventative maintenance. Interfaces with internal customers and external customers to provide exceptional photography services.Additional Functions: Completes special projects such as photographic documentation of test flights and special missions upon request. . Performs additional functions incidental to photographic activities. . Maintains a high-degree of expertise in photographic equipment and technology relating to digital, film media and processing. .Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements: Proficient in digital software used for digital image production and manipulation as well as Portfolio for digital asset management. Unique understanding of digital photography technology and equipment, specifically color formats, digital file formats, requirements for production of photo libraries and requirements of all forms of digital printing. Ability to operate all types of camera equipment, film, storage devices and other necessary equipment and materials needed to photograph and produce quality job assignment. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
