It is a dynamic and flexible workplace where you’ll belong and be encouraged. /cloud/ As a Principal Software Engineer on the Enterprise Management Services team, you will help lead our development efforts as we build the technology platform that will support Enterprise Engineering Services cloud’s software offerings. You will be a core contributor and one of the technical leads driving design and delivery of our DevOps and Cloud services on a team of software engineers working to build, grow and scale our services. The Enterprise Management Services team is responsible for building the services where our customers will go to support both the internal and external platform of overlay DevOps services. The challenges here are across the entire stack, from back-end distributed DevOps services operating at cloud scale, to customer facing DevOps platform, to the Cloud Native OCI Services that users interact with. This is the perfect role for someone experienced in designing distributed systems, writing and debugging code across an entire stack (UI, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure services), championing operational excellence, mentoring junior engineers, driving development process improvements and excellence in a start-up style environment.  Career Level - IC4  As a Principal Software Engineer on this team, your responsibilities will include leading system design of major features and services, mentoring other engineers, writing high quality code at a high rate of speed, driving operational excellence, improving the extent of our code coverage and the automation of our testing and deployments. Basic Qualifications: A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline 7-10 years of software development experience Sound fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis Experience with designing, launching and maintaining distributed systems at scale Proficiency in one or more programming languages like Java, Python, Golang etc. Expertise in building web applications, designing REST APIs and proficient in SQL, relational databases Preferred Qualifications: Experience in DevOps and Security Tooling Experience with virtualization and orchestration stacks Experience with building and deploying software services with cloud infrastructure providers is a plus Design and collaborate to build simple and effective UX Disclaimer:Certain US customer or client-facing roles may be required to comply with applicable requirements, such as immunization and occupational health mandates.Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations onlyUS: Hiring Range in USD from: $96,800 to $223,400 per annum.
