Job Summary:The National Training Manager will be a retail product and participation program expert that aids ADS in maximizing all Vehicle Service Contract (VSC) and ancillary program participation while focusing on account retention by providing both internal and external training and sales support. The Manager will also support the National Sales Leader, Agency Channel Leader, Strategic Channels Leader and NESNA sales leader efforts to meet and exceed sales objectives by providing sales support, marketing and training materials and sales tools.Key Responsibilities:• Design internal training content to better enhance sales performance of ADS Sales Channels and field teams • Manage complete training team including Sr. Sales Instructors F&I Specialist Teams, Internal Training Instructor, and External Training Coordinator to successfully design, develop and implement all training content and materials needed to accomplish all ADS internal and external training goals • Manage the design, development and implementation of the ADS National sales training programs including General Agent training, AFSE Certification training programs and future program enhancements to increase all ADS product sales performance and dealer profitability • Work with ADS National Sales Leader to represent ADS and the Training team at all Sales Conferences to develop and facilitate tactical sales growth initiatives • Develop positive and productive relationships with all AOR leaders to attain ADS shared goals Supervisory Responsibilities:This job has supervisory duties.Education and Experience:• 4 year Bachelors Degree (Preferred) • 10 or more years of experience (Preferred) • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:• No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job. Functional Skills: • Proven experience with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio and Outlook • Mastery knowledge level of competitive VSC programs and providers or industry corporate experience • Proven ability to effectively design, schedule and facilitate formal and informal training workshops in dealership or corporate locations with up to 60 attendees • Proven ability to communicate effectively at a professional level with internal and external personnel • Ability to travel 50-75% of time Notes:The preceding description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities.
