We are hiring a Senior Branch Specialist (Personal Banker) to join the team As a Senior Branch Specialist (Personal Banker), you’ll develop relationships with our members, become their financial expert, open specialized accounts and educate them about products/services that will have a positive impact on their lives. This position is a combination of being a Personal Banker with some Teller responsibilities. It offers a variety of work throughout the day, involves sales goals, and is exciting for those that enjoy exceeding metrics and earning incentives Daily Responsibilities: Identifying financial products/services that will benefit our members. Through engaging in consultative conversations, you’ll guide them toward products and services that are in their best interest. There are times when you’ll need to overcome objections, but you’ll anticipate that because you great with people first, service-oriented sales Processing a wide array of requests for members such as opening specialized and complex accounts as well as assisting with consumer loan applications. Wearing multiple hats and being a collaborative team player. You’ll back up the Branch Specialists by greeting members and directing them to the person who can best help. You will also partake in fielding calls from members who need assistance. Ensuring that all policies, procedures, compliance, audits, quality control and balancing standards are adhered to so that we are protecting our members’ finances and identity as well as security and risk for the credit union. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent 2 years of related work experience such as retail, customer service, guest relations, sales, and cash handling. Financial Institution, Teller, Personal Banker experience is preferred. High comfort level promoting products and services, educating members, and engaging in sales-oriented conversations. Computer proficient in Data Processing Platforms, Email, Internet/Intranet, Instant Messaging, and Microsoft Office. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized while working at a fast pace. Propensity to be helpful, positive, act with integrity, and to embrace inclusion & diversity Availability to work 40+ hours/week and be scheduled between the following hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:30am- 5:15pm; Friday: 8:30-6:15pm; Saturdays 8:30 am- 1:15pm (when scheduled Saturday, you’ll get time off during the week) Compensation: The salary range for this role is $18.34 - $27.51 per hour. This role is eligible for sales incentives. A specific salary offer considers factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
